Description: white relief, painted paper clay on canvas, finished in a natural wooden frame.

This artwork is inspired by a dead tree. Most of it’s branches have been shortened, yet it still stands tall.

The composition is made of strips of paper clay, fixed on canvas, finished by white paint.

The work comes to life in grazing light, when the shadows of the strips amplify the pattern.

Dimensions are including the frame. The work is framed and equipped with hanging hardware (saw tooth).
