9 Stones in the river (1-2023)
Size: 148 W x 88 H x 15 D cm
Materials: Paper mache on canvas
Description: White relief, painted paper clay on a plain canvas base, captured in a white wooden frame.
This work is inspired by time. I see an impression of a flow pattern around 9 stones, carved out of rock by millions of years of erosion.
Motion frozen in time. A gentle reminder that even the simplest rock is the result of billions of years of geological processes.
The edge was finished in such a way that the base of the artwork resembles a solid plate of chalkstone, cut out of a rock in one piece and fitted on the canvas.
Dimensions are including the frame. The work equipped with hanging hardware (steel wire). The work is not heavy, just 7 kilograms.
